What we take care of
Mowing runs on a weekly route from April through October, and the seasonal work fills in around it. The prices below are starting points for a typical residential lot, not quotes.
Spring cleanup
Winter debris pulled out, beds edged, and the lawn dethatched so it greens up evenly.
Starting at $175 most lots $175 to $350
Fall leaf removal
Two or three passes through the season so the leaves never mat down over the grass.

Mulch and beds
Beds cleaned, edges recut by hand, then hardwood mulch spread two to three inches deep.

Hedge and shrub trimming
Shaped by hand, cleaned up underneath, and clippings hauled away the same day.

Aeration and overseeding
Core aeration to open up our heavy clay soil, then seed matched to sun or shade.

Snow removal
Driveway and front walk cleared once two inches are down, salt on the walk on request.

Every yard is different. Slope, fenced gates, dog areas and how long the grass has been left all change the number, so we quote yours before any work starts and the price we give you is the price you pay.

Common questions
Before you call
How do you price a lawn?
By the size of the cut, the trimming around it, and how much is in the way, such as fences, playsets or a steep back slope. We look at the property before quoting, and the weekly price stays the same all season unless you add work.
Do I need to be home?
No. Most customers are at work when we come through. We just need the gate unlocked or a code, and we text when the crew is on the way if you ask us to.
What happens if it rains on my day?
We move you to the next dry day on the route, usually within twenty four to forty eight hours. You are not billed twice and you do not lose your spot in the rotation. If a week gets washed out entirely, we skip the charge rather than double cut and stress the grass.
Do you take one-time jobs, or only contracts?
Both. One-time cleanups, a single mulch job or one cut before a party are all fine. Weekly mowing runs as a season route because the price depends on the grass never getting away from us, but there is no long-term contract to sign and you can stop any time with a week of notice.
When does mowing season start in Indiana?
Around here the first cut usually lands in the first two weeks of April, once the soil is firm enough to drive on without rutting. Growth peaks in May and June, slows in the heat of July, then picks up again in September. The last cut is normally late October or early November.
How do I pay?
Card, bank transfer, check or cash. Weekly mowing is billed monthly, so you get one statement instead of four small ones. Seasonal work is invoiced when the job is finished, due in fifteen days.
Are you insured?
Yes. Example Lawn Care carries general liability coverage, and we can email the certificate before the first visit if you want it on file.
How fast will you get back to me?
Calls during business hours are answered live. Quote requests sent through this site get a reply the same day if they arrive before late afternoon, and first thing the next morning otherwise.

Snow season runs November through March. Plow calls are answered from 5:00 am, and driveways are cleared before the morning drive whenever the snow stops in time.
